I’ve been meaning to send you and your husband a big thank you ever since Hallettstone Memorials completed my mum’s memorial.
We are very happy with the end result and will be referring others to your business as time goes on. (There’s already something in the pipeline re one of my wife’s relations who died some months ago).

During the most difficult of times, when grieving the death of a young family member, the love, support and patience given by Wayne and Therese Hallett were incredible.
From the moment we met, it was as if they were part of our own family.
I requested a double monument design that they had never seen or done before, but Wayne’s professionalism, craftsmanship and pride gave us exactly what we had envisaged ( and fairly and reasonably quoted )

My mother died in 1961 and her gravestone didn’t mention her children, who at the time had no influence over what was to be done. An after thought resulted in a little block put on the grave with her two girls names on it. This disappeared years ago.
As I have recently returned to Melbourne and living here – this had to be fixed.
In speaking with people I was given two names to approach to fix the problem.
Wayne Hallett was one of those approached.
My first meeting convinced me that he was the one to go with because he took the time to give me options and explain the process. We walked around the cemetery and he advised me on what could and couldn’t be done, recommended options by showing me how they looked on other tombstones, also why he recommended those options.
I couldn’t be happier with the result, he delivered in everything he said he would.
The grave got tidied up, The additional plaque looked terrific. Whatever he said he would do he did with the minimum of fuss. The result is terrific.
The other person who was to quote never ever even got back to me.

I am so sorry that I have delayed writing to you in regards to the headstone for my mother and father.
I would be delighted to share my experience with Hallettstone to help others make a decision to deal with you and Wayne in their time of need.
As you will remember I was given the run around by another company and was very frustrated and sad.
I rang the cemetery and they gave me names of companies that had worked at the small country cemetery where my parents had been laid to rest.

You and your staff were caring, knowledgeable and as I live a long distance away you kept me in the loop during the whole process. The headstone I chose was different from the standard and Wayne was wonderful meeting me at the cemetery to explain heights and layouts.
